North Night Vision Technology (NNVT)
North Night Vision Technology Co.Ltd (NNVT) is the largest Chinese manufacturer for image intensifiers and their components (PSU, MCP and FOP). NVT benefits over 50 years of experience in researching & designing, manufacturing, marketing and servicing for image intensifiers. The product range includes 1st gen., 2nd gen., super gen. 2, High Performance with series of 16mm, 18mm, 25mm, 20/30mm and 40mm, with wafer inverting, non-inverting, staging and hybrid formats and ICCD night vision components.
NVT's New Products include MCP-PMT, InGaAs Solid-State Low-Light Sensor, CIS Solid-State Low Light level Sensor.
NVT's Products are conformed to Military Standards. NVT' products cover UV,Solar blind UV,Visible,SWIR Sensors
NVT produces and supplies worldwide Super Gen.2 tubes with multi alkali photo cathode. NVT now is able to produce series of these first class tubes: NT-3, NVT-4(CNT-4), NVT-5, NVT-6(DNT-6), NVT-7.Super Gen. 2 tubes has much better features in SNR, MTF and Resolution, etcetera. With its wide spectral range and higher light response, these tubes perform extremely well in every environment and under all circumstances, either in dynamic light conditions, or in green environments, deserts, coastal areas and on water and snow. DNT-6 tubes are equipped with features of Auto-Gating and auto-control over gain, performing 24-hour day and night. The features of enhanced SNR, MTF and Resolution with the Auto Gating lead to excellent image quality from the very dark up to daylight conditions.
NVT-6 Image Intensifiers adopts new MCP processing technology and newphotocathode process. This product representhigh resolution, high reliability,full-timeworking characteristics. This image Intensifier tube has a variety of specifications positive image plane, forwoard spherical surface, invertedimage plane and inverted image spherical surface available.
NVT-7 Image Intensifiers is the latest product and has wide spectral range, high near-infrared response. This newly developed photocathode process represent a significant breakthrough in sensitivity.Compared with traditional Image Intensifier, photocathode sensitivity , near-infrared sensitivity and signal to noise ratio increased by 30%-60%, 50% and 30%, respectively. The spectral range is extened more than 1000nm,so that can image 1064nm laser. A halo size is decreased within 0.7mm and 16mm NVT-7 can be supplied with ultra-high auto-gating and bright spot protection.
It is believed to manufacture image intensifiers using or at least based on production lines and technology purchased from Photonis (Photonis-DEP Nederland).
Products
NNVT produces image intensifiers in 16mm, 18mm, 25mm, 20/30mm and 40mm format, with wafer inverting, non-inverting, staging and hybrid formats and ICCD night vision components.
Furthermore, development for the following technologies is ongoing:
- MCP-PMT
- InGaAs Solid-State Low-Light Sensor
- CIS Solid-State Low Light level Sensor
At the core of NNVT's lineup of image intensifiers lies a single-digit iteration standing for each new production line, starting at 1, with 7 being the latest.
In the past, NNVT used this iteration prefixed with NVT (e.g. NVT-5, ...) as naming convention.
While some distributors still use this system, NNVT uses a product number system, usually consisting of two letters, four digits, followed by a suffix of up to two letters, like GT4864AW. The first digit stands for the iteration. Product families, e.g. image intensifiers of the same format, replace the iteration with the letter X, and have no suffix, e.g. GTX864. This system draws heavy inspiration of the product numbering system used by Photonis.
