Legality of Image Intensifiers[edit | edit source]
Owning and using night vision is not restricted in Sweden except for the context of hunting where image intensifiers are only allowed while hunting boar. The scope of this restriction is expressly stated in Jaktlagen, the section concerning regulation of licensed hunting.
All configurations and modes of use are otherwise unrestricted, as are accessories such as laser aiming modules, illuminators, nvg-compatible weapon sights etc.
