Night Vision Device

From Night Vision Wiki

A night vision device (NVD) is an electro-optical device that will give a user the ability to view the environment even when it is too dark to do so with the unaided eye.

Principle[edit | edit source]

There are two types of night vision devices, analog and digital.

Analog[edit | edit source]

In an analog device, an objective lens at the front of the device bundles and focuses light onto the input of an image intensifier.
