The Night Patriot is a monocular night vision device manufactured by ATN. The Night Patriot 2 and Night Patriot 3 devices are of generation 2 and 3 respectively.

Accessories[edit | edit source]
ATN released a number of different accessories for the Night Patriot series, releasing them in different "kits" containing multiple accessories. These accessories include different magnification lenses, scope reticle units, infrared illuminators and head mounting solutions.
Accessory list[edit | edit source]
- 90mm objective lens - A larger objective lens giving approximately 4x magnification.
- Objective doubler - Threads between the 90mm objective and the device, doubling the magnification. It is not possible to screw the 1x lens far enough into this doubler to focus correctly.
- 15mm eyepiece - An alternative eyepiece giving 2x magnification. The original eyepiece is 30mm.
- Illuminated scope reticle eyepiece - A red illuminated reticle unit that replaces the eyepiece. Uses a CR2032 battery. The brightness and zero of the reticle is adjustable.
- Bi - ocular eyepiece - Turns the unit into slightly magnified bi - ocular device. Intended to be used with the 90mm objective lens for 5x overall magnification.
- Infrared illuminator - A 450mw focusable infrared illuminator that attaches to the two mounting holes on the side of the device. Adjustable for windage and elevation. A similar illuminator is included with other ATN product lines. A proprietary wrench is included to allow the illuminator to be rotated for better access to its controls. Despite the accessory kit lists referring to a "Super long range" and "Long range" IR illuminator, no mention of these are made in ATN manuals.
- Scope adapter - Not referred to in ATN literature. Clamps to the 1x lens and allows for a scope to be positioned in front of it.
