The Armasight Sirius is an older device manufactured by Armasight by Flir. The device comes standard with either a green phospher tube or a white phospher tube, which armasight calls "Quicksilver". The device is not delivered with a specsheet when bought new. The device uses a 43mm inverting glas tube, which has resulted in the device, needing an exceptional inverter. This makes the device incredibly long and big, which results in it weighing 460 grams. The optics used on the housing are of very poor quality, and has a blurry vingette around the edges, aswell as an eyepiece with a very small eye-relief box, which makes it incredibly hard to look through.

The device is not ideal for mounting on a helmet, but it does however contain 2 minirails on either side for accessories or mounting capabilities. The device also features a built in IR illuminator, an ON/OFF switch, and a battery low indicator inside the device. The device is MIL-STD-810F Compliant.
