PFM

The PFM is a night vision device of Soviet origin. It was meant for mine clearance. The kit includes some pods similar to those on PNW-2 and also a tripod. Variants of this device were also produced with German labeling for the NVA. The device comes in a large metal box, with the individual components listed on a piece of paper on the lid of the box itself. A high voltage converter box with a mount for the individual cable pods is also supplied. How this converter differs from others as the ones on the PNW-2 is unclear.
