Carson Industries is a well regarded manufacturer of optical equipment and their mil-spec compliant night vision device lenses are considered to be some of the best available on the market.
As a company their products span a wide range of different areas but for our purposes we will remain in their production of night vision parts.
Like other manufacturers Carson front lenses have a multicoat treatment which reflect light of distinct colors.
Night Vision system compatibility
Carson Industries produce lens assemblies and related parts compatible with different specifications of night vision device housings. An incomplete list of the common systems below.
AN/PVS-14
Carson produces lenses for use with AN/PVS-14 mil-spec housings such as made by Elbit Systems (original developer), L3Harris, ACTinBlack among others.
