Signal-to-noise Ratio it the ratio between the actual image (signal) and noise like scintillation.
Typical Ratios are:
- Gen 0 & 1: over 40
- Gen 2 (depending on time of manufacture): 10-32
- Gen 3: 15-35
A bad SNR, compared to other the datasheet or the general specifications, can be one sign of a Tube that at its end of life.
