The Baigish 20A is a first generation night vision device. It contains two first generation tubes and a small IR illuminator in a single unit, on a proprietary mount which is secured to a leather skull crusher. A battery pack is mounted on the rear of the skull crusher, with a control panel holding a power switch for the device and for the IR illuminator.
Included equipment
It was originally supplied with a large battery charger and a 3v battery. At some point a battery adapter was designed that allowed two AA sized batteries to be used instead. The unit and all accessories fit into a metal carrying case with a polystyrene insert for holding each item. A small plate could be clipped over the front of the unit to protect the objective lenses and image intensifier tubes from damage.
