The MUM-14 / Mini-14 is one of the smallest housings designed and developed by Nivisys, LLV. It is compatible to MX-10160 format image intensifier tubes.
It is smaller and lighter than the AN/PVS-14, yet features a comparable optical performance.
Two monocular devices can be combined into a binocular system using a mounting bridge what gives the ability to see stereoscopically but being heavier than dedicated binocular systems.
The MUM-14 is equipped with an IR illuminator. It does not feature manual gain control.
Extremely lightweight at ~270g and versatile, the MUM-14 can be hand-held, head-mounted, helmet-mounted, camera/camcorder adapted or weapons mounted as a night scope.
IEA Mil-Optics GmbH rebranded it as NT940.
