The pod itself is closely identical to the 1431 as seen on the pictures making them interchangeable. This means that you can use Alexi pod on Argus 1431 to make it lighter since 1431 is one of the heaviest BNVD. There is also a purge screw.Unit has a very nice audible and tactile push button control for power and IR ilumination. IR light is on the battery unit itself. On unit is also the screw hole to make it into binocular system using a bridge. It uses rechargeable 10440 AAA battery | |||
