The Ruggedized Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (RPNVG) is a panoramic binocular, developed as an evolution of the RNVG by AB NightVision Inc. It was first revealed at the 2022 Shot show.
Features[edit | edit source]
To accommodate the panning, the RPNVG has a wide IPD range of 57mm to 98mm. IPD adjustment is not done by turning a screw, but by pressing a push button on the front of the pod and moving it with force. This design allows much faster IPD adjustment than traditional screw methods.
To activate the panning function, pull both bridges inward.
The RPNVG also allows the pod to be instantly released from the bridge by simply lifting the latch on the end of the bridge. It can be used as a monocular by attaching a mono adapter sold separately by the manufacturer.
