Litton Industries was an American manufacturer of military equipment, including night vision devices and image intensifiers.

Ever since Litton Industries was acquired by Northrop Grumman on May 31 2001[1] the night vision department went through several name and ownership changes to ultimately live on in the night vision arm of L3Harris (see the history section there for details).

Litton Industries is well known for developing the first usable filmless image intensifiers.
Litton supplied image intensifier tubes to the U.S. Armed Forces under several Omnibus contracts.
