AN/PVS-24
The AN/PVS-24 is a clip-on night vision device manufactured by the U.S. company L3Harris. The term "clip-on" refers to a device that attaches in front of an optical sight to provide the user with night vision capabilities.
There is also another version of the product known as the M2124-LR (CNVD-LR). Unlike the standard M2124, which was primarily used at 1x magnification, the M2124-LR supports high-magnification use ranging from 2.5x to 14x.
AN/PVS-24 Operates on a single CR123A battery. It can operate 16+hours on a single CR123A battery.
There is an extending accessory that allows AN/PVS-24 to use AA instead of CR123A.
An interesting fact about PVS-24, is that it uses MX-11769 Pigtail for manual gain control. In a way, you could say the PVS-24 is just a giant PVS-14.
